About the Project
This is a book jacket for Lee Brown Smithson’s new book, “Dreams”. Designing this jacket was enjoyable because of the challenges that were presented. Having to create a book jacket template that could be used to fit a specific book size, while being reusable for future projects or edits was quite the challenge. It took a couple of prints to get the design to align perfectly on the spine, which was my main objective. This design was created using Adobe Illustrator. Overall, I think the design turned out great, and I enjoyed the critical thinking that was needed for the duration of this project. I would definitely design another book jacket if given the opportunity.
